img_5136After completing a CELTA at International House in Bangkok in 2010, Eugene Sidwell set up an informal EFL School in a coffee shop in Kampot, Cambodia. He moved to Phnom Penh in 2013 and taught English for Academic Purposes to pre-university students. After briefly helping to set up an international school in the capital, he started working as an ESL teacher at Aii Language Center in 2015. After being appointed Director of Studies at Aii LC he has been very busy with a number of projects, including introducing skills-based and task- based projects to the General English Program, overhauling teacher observation and feedback, as well as  developing a coherent program of Continuing Professional Development for the faculty of around 200 teachers and teacher’s aides.
