Dear Teacher,

I’m sorry I missed my homework.
I’m sorry I missed my assignment.
I’m sorry I said you were too strict.
I’m sorry I was late to your class every morning.
I’m sorry to make your job ten times harder than it should be.

Dear teacher, now that I’ve grown up and joined this big world, I’ve finally understood.

You gave me homework, so that I could put what I’ve learned into practice.
You assigned me tasks, so that I could prepare myself for the future.
You were strict, so that I wouldn’t stray from my path.
You were serious about time, so that I could grow up to be a responsible person.
You were worn out, but you never gave up on me, so that I would not be lost in life.

Therefore, to my dear teacher, I want to say thank you.
Thank you for your dedication in teaching me.
Thank you for being patient with me.
Thank you for helping me through my adolescent life.
And most importantly, thank you for motivating me into becoming the best version of myself. I wouldn’t have made it this far without you.

So, dear teacher, I want you to know this.
“I might not remember what you have said, but I will always remember what you have done for me throughout my life”.
