What Will Students Learn in the Part-Time Study Program at Aii Language Center?

At the Aii Language Center, students enrolled in part-time study programs will learn various lessons and subjects based on their age range and the language they select. The part-time programs at Aii mainly focus on language instruction and are designed to meet the needs of learners who attend full-time classes at public or private schools. 1. English Language (English as a Second Language – ESL)

The main part-time English programs include:

General English Program (GEP)

Learners: Suitable for teenagers and adults (from age 12 and above).

Lessons Include:
This program focuses on developing the four macro language skills:

  • Speaking: For daily and professional communication.

  • Listening: For comprehension of conversations and lectures.

  • Reading: For analyzing and understanding various texts.

  • Writing: For academic and workplace-related writing.

To help students achieve a proficient level of English suitable for higher education and employment needs. Part-time classes are typically shorter than full-time classes per day.

Preparation Courses

Students with sufficient language proficiency may also enroll in exam preparation courses such as TOEFL or IELTS, which focus on strategies and standardized test formats.

Diploma Program

A specialized program for learners with intermediate or advanced English proficiency. It focuses on specific skill areas such as:

2. Chinese Language (Chinese as a Second Language – CSL)

Learners: Suitable for students from around 8 years old up to adulthood.

Lessons Include:
Students will develop Mandarin skills from beginner to advanced levels, including:

  • Pronunciation & Tones: Correct sound production and tone recognition in Chinese.

  • Chinese Characters: Reading and writing Chinese characters.

  • Basic Grammar and Conversation: Everyday communication skills.

To improve the ability to communicate with native Chinese speakers and prepare for the HSK examination (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi).
