
Competition is not always about winning or losing nor is it about being better than someone else. Competition, especially in school, is an important part of a student’s life. It can motivate them and increase their interest in school.
Healthy competition is an interaction between people that foster improvement and achievement in ourselves as well as to create an environment that everyone in the group hopes to do well without feeling bitter nor jealous of one another.
There are many benefits to participating in a healthy competition. It brings out the skills and talent of students. They can learn new techniques and work in teams with a positive mindset. Healthy competition also fosters students’ confidence and creativity. It is a fun and enjoyable way for them to learn.
In healthy competition, students need teamwork and positive participation. They are encouraged to learn new skills and techniques to improve themselves by working with their team to compete between the groups in the same classroom. It is not about winning for the students. What is important here is that students are learning and having fun during the competition.
