MJQE Window to the World: Opening Doors to Education and Opportunity

MJQE Window to the World: Opening Doors to Education and Opportunity

June 12, 2025

In line with the vision of its Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Neak Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach, the Mengly J. Quach Education together with the MJQ Foundation, Aii Language Center and American Intercon School proudly hosted the 3rd annual Window to the World charity and experiential learning event — a flagship community outreach initiative designed to empower and uplift students from underserved communities.

This year, 20 students from Otta Kok High School in Siem Reap Province will journey to Phnom Penh to participate in a four-day educational and cultural experience from June 11 to 14, 2025. The experience aims to broaden their horizons and inspire their academic journeys through immersive activities, real-life learning, and meaningful interaction with peers, teachers, and mentors.

“When you wish for something in a positive way, it will come true – that is the law of attraction through manifesting”, Neak Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach expressed this in his speech during the meet and greet with the students.

On the opening day, one of the participants shared that this experience will truly leave a lasting mark for her. Most of them would like to know more about scholarships and finding a good job in Phnom Penh.

An Experience Beyond the Classroom

During their stay in Phnom Penh, the selected recipients will be immersed in a variety of educational and cultural activities. They will attend in-class sessions at Aii Language Center and AIS, where they can engage with modern, interactive learning environments and observe firsthand how learning is brought to life in the classroom. Their journey will also include visits to museums, libraries, and key cultural landmarks across the capital, providing them with a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s history and development. The students will have entertaining moments through movie experience, park visits and other landmarks at the heart of Phnom Penh capital.

To build confidence and connection, the students will participate in team-building activities and language exchange sessions with Aii and AIS students, fostering meaningful peer-to-peer interaction. Inspirational talks by educational leaders and professionals will further empower them with new perspectives and motivation for their own academic journeys. The program will culminate in a special Sharing Session on June 14, where participants will reflect on and share what they’ve learned and experienced. For many of these students, this marks their first trip outside their hometown — a truly transformative opportunity made possible by Aii’s unwavering commitment to education, empathy, and equity.

Empowered by a Legacy of Giving

The Window to the World initiative reflects MJQE’s deep-rooted dedication to social responsibility — a value that has been at the core of its mission since day one. Each year, the school selects a rural or underserved school in need, supports it with learning materials, and invites selected students to Phnom Penh to take part in this immersive learning opportunity. Through this effort, Aii not only uplifts individual students but also contributes to building a more connected, educated, and compassionate society.

A Window to a Brighter Future

As Aii celebrates 20 Years of Excellence, Window to the World is more than a charity project — it’s a powerful reminder of what education can do when driven by compassion and purpose. This year’s journey with Otta Kok High School is another step in building a more connected, informed, and inspired Cambodia.

Supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, this event was made possible through the support of our partners: Aii Language Center, American Intercon School, Study Overseas Go Overseas SOGO, TESOL House and MJQ TV. This event was sponsored by United Knowledge (Platinum Sponsor), Sunway Hotel (Silver Sponsor) and In-kind sponsorship from Koi, Prime Cineplex, Dream Fashion.

As MJQE celebrates over 20 Years of Excellence, Window to the World is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when education and empathy go hand-in-hand. It’s not just about teaching students — it’s about empowering them to speak for others.
