Siem Reap is one of the four main economic poles of the Kingdom of Cambodia, which contributes significantly to the development of society and the national economy as a whole. The potential of the tourism industry which consists of hundreds of ancient temples, especially Angkor Wat, cultural sites and eco-tourism attracts millions of international tourists every year to this wonderful land with many job opportunities for the local people. The growth of international tourists has led to a huge increase in the demand for employees or services in this field, especially the potential of those with foreign language knowledge.
Although tourism has been severely affected by the spread of the new respiratory disease, Covid-19, for more than two years, the premier of the Royal Government of Cambodia has been preparing for its rehabilitation in Siem Reap, such as the construction of a new international airport and the preparation of road infrastructure to prepare for the return of international tourists.
The proficiency in multiple foreign languages is a basic prerequisite for successful communication in the tourism industry, as well as for mutual understanding among students involved in the exchange programs with different universities, especially in foreign countries. In collaboration with the Government of Cambodia, Aii Language Center, a leading language training center in the Kingdom of Cambodia, has launched its new branch in Siem Reap, Siem Reap on July 25. 2022. The center will provide English, Chinese and Thai language programs to students, staff of public and private institutions, with quality, discipline and standardized services from preschool programs to general language programs for adults. It is also an authorized TOEFL test center.
In addition, we have ICES and SOGO offices, which are centers for counseling and study abroad arrangements from high school to university.
The Aii Language Center will play a key role in developing quality human resources with 21st century learning experiences, digital classrooms and talented teachers with foreign language teaching experience.
