The Internet is everywhere and everything in recent years. Therefore, social media is taking us by storm and exposing our daily life, career, family and relationship to the public. Moreover, the different online behavior, attitude and aggression have sparked great concerns to all users. Are humans naturally cruel? Has social media unlocked our cruel human nature? According to a research in 2017 from Pew Research Center, 4000 people had been studied if they were harassed online from unknown perpetrators. The result shows four out of ten answered “yes” and 1600 cases in 4000 people in total. As we perceive, experience and act the way the 21th century carries, the world is shaped by what and who surrounds us on a daily basis. Probably, online aggression can be a product of evolutionary social skills, the social media boom and political and economic context. Using social media, people hate and divide each other due to a preference of politicians. Eventually, they would start attacking one another to support and protect their favorites on the internet. We have all seen and heard the expression “you are what you eat.” In fact, it has positively affected and influenced how we eat and drink daily. Some are bullied, attacked and judged online for their appearance because they are too thin or fat. Others are kept hostile by the aggressive comments and hate on social media.
