Milcah Madlang-awa is from the Philippines and is currently working as a Head Teacher at Aii Language Center, Siem Reap Campus.
She started volunteering to teach English in rural areas around Siem Reap at a very young age. The volunteer work made her realize her passion for teaching, so she started her professional teaching career at the age of 18. She believes that teaching can only be effective if the heart is in it.
In July 2022, she was employed as an ESL Teacher in Aii Siem Reap. With hard work and commitment, she was promoted to ESL Head Teacher in the same campus in September of 2023. Working with Aii has inspired her to pursue bigger roles to help bring about the positive changes that Aii wishes to see in Cambodia.
