“Some Tips for a Working Woman’s Healthier Lifestyle”

September 9, 2022Travel and Lifestyle 20 Views

How is your day, women? Is your response, “a crazy busy day”, to the query? You can still be honest! Everyone in this century seems to be too busy to care for their own lifestyles. But as working women, we should not be too busy to begin our journey toward a healthier lifestyle. Due to the biological process, women in particular need to pay special attention to our lifestyle. I started looking for self-help advice once I realized that both my physical and mental health was beginning to deteriorate.

Here are some tips I personally start trying with myself in recent months and it improves my condition to a certain level:

  1. Set a Morning Routine: After getting up, stretch and drink a glass of water. Wash your face. Take an hour for morning exercise twice to thrice per week if you have time in the morning. It will help you start your day off right after working up a sweat. And for women, hygiene and scent are especially important. Additionally, eat a small portion of your nutritious breakfast at the same time every day.
  2. Work-Life Balance: The balance here means you meet the deadlines at work while also having your personal time for your life, your loved ones, and yourself. You may earn a big sum of money through your hard work yet please remember that your salary cannot always guarantee longevity or happiness. Hence, we need to learn to prioritize our responsibilities, detox our stress and manage time for self-reward and self-love.
  3. Stay Hydrated: Although being hydrated is vital for health, knowing how much water to drink is another matter. According to Forbes Health, The Institute of Medicine of the National Academies advises adult women to consume 2.7 liters of water daily and adult men to consume 3.7 liters. Also, do not wait till you are thirsty.
  4. Get Your Beauty Sleep: According to Healthline, adult women shall have at least 7-9 hours of sleep for the rejuvenation of their skin cells and brain functions. You will wake up fresh when you get a quality night’s sleep.
