Technology facilitates work efficiency. With advancement in technology, communicating with each other becomes easier. The use of technology not only saves us time and money, but also makes teamwork smoother and solves problems where busy team members are unable to meet in person. The following are some benefits of technology in teamwork:
- Work efficiency
Technology-based teamwork makes it easier for managers to assign tasks to employees, leading employees to better understand their roles. When employees are familiar with their roles, they will know what to do and what not to do indiscriminately. Therefore, the implementation of work will be faster and save money.
For example, Microsoft SharePoint and Slack, we can use it to divide or transfer tasks to individual employees. We also see the presence of a number of social networks that employees and business owners use in their work, such as Facebook Line Trello to facilitate their teamwork.
Sometimes there is a gap in the information dissemination among employees. However, if the manager uses a team communication system, all employees will receive accurate, complete and timely information.
Facebook Messenger or telegram is a good application that allows us to use to send news and information because we can know who has read and who has not read a message. Not only that, all the information or messages sent previously may be easily reviewed in the system.

Through technology some staff members are able to work even if s/he is not physically present at the workplace.
- Customers Satisfaction
Technology allows more opportunity for better workflow which in turn leads to better output. If the work is done efficiently, the customers become more satisfied with the company’s services. Work efficiency is directly related customer satisfaction.
