Mr. Thavrat Nath is working as an ESL Head Teacher at Aii Language Center for the nonce. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2020. In 2021, he won a Chinese Government Scholarship to study Master’s Degree in Educational Management and also won two leading awards, Excellent Graduate and Excellent Thesis on his graduation day in 2023.

During his college life in Phnom Penh, he worked as an ESL part-time tutor at a start-up school from 2015 to 2018, as a teacher and Center Coordinator at one NGO from 2017 to 2019, and as a GEP Program Coordinator at one International School from 2019 to 2021 before he set out his Master in China in 2021. Seeing the prominent role of education and longing to get involved in educational enhancement in Cambodia, after coming back from China, he applied to be an ESL Head Teacher at Aii Language Center and he was selected. As an educator and motivational speaker, he believes students will not have the motivation to learn should teachers not have the motivation to teach. Also, he believes students have the potential to succeed if educational stakeholders grant them the right support and opportunities and he suggests that students should acquire non-technical skills and social-emotional skills through learning the language as it is exceptionally pivotal for their future career prospects, diurnal lives, and real-world work.
