I’ve always been a hard worker, but I’ve used that quality in the wrong way too many times in my twenties to achieve my goals. After graduating from college, there were endless jobs and sleepless nights to earn money and support my family. I had no idea how important it is to enjoy and have a life.
As a breadwinner, I almost forgot to enjoy it. Until a friend told me one day that I was just surviving but not living my life. What she said astounded me. I realized that money can be replaced, but time cannot.
A vacation is the ideal time to try something new and exciting, especially if you can’t do it at home. The thrill begins when you begin to plan to visit a new place. People mostly seek better weather, nicer scenery, the freedom to do whatever they want; experiences they wouldn’t normally have, the opportunity to admire masterpieces, and a slower, more relaxing pace in their travels.
Travel, no matter how big or small, and try to create long-lasting memories. All of those experiences will shape your personality as well.
