Most successful people around the world, despite their tight schedule, invest in reading​ because they believe that they can get many benefits from it.

When reading, we’ll expose ourselves to various words, which allows for better understanding​ of the topics we read. One of the advantages of reading is that it can improve our memory. It provides the much needed mental exercise that strengthen our cognitive abilities.

Another benefit is, it can improve our ability to empathize with others. Empathy can reduce stress, improve our relationships, and our communication skills. Reading is stress-reducing activity that can take us out of the moment and help our minds escape for a while.

So, pick your favorite book or article, start small, and you will like it.
