“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” — Will Durant

Clubs and organizations in school are really beneficial to students such as connecting them to people who have similar interests, getting to expose themselves, providing a path to leadership within the organization, giving them more opportunities to discover their passion, building their own credit for the future opportunity, and having fun.

Students should work hard to build who they really want to be in the future. Sometimes they might not know or feel confused about what their future plan is, which school clubs and organizations can help them to expose and discover themselves. They also should be thoughtful and strategic of what clubs to join as not every club is the right fit for them. Learning about the purpose and action plan of each club is important.

Through my experience, school clubs, and other extra activities in the school built who I am today. When I was a student, I spent most of my free time in the clubs to learn various activities, talking to people about different topics, and sharing ideas. We have shared updated information especially related to exchange programs and scholarships etc. Most of the seniors in the clubs have already experienced those processes in terms of applying for the programs, so they advised me in a much easier way. Also, the school club gave me concrete skills for my current career both soft and hard skills.
